Windsocks and windsock masts

Air hoses - length 100 cm to 450 cm

The windsock standardized according to ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) specifications is an essential piece of equipment for indicating wind direction and strength in airport and industrial environments. Designed without a frame, this windsock is made from 115g/m² polyester mesh, offering weather resistance and optimal durability in various outdoor conditions. It features three red bands and two white bands, ensuring maximum visibility in all circumstances.

The windsock comes with eyelets and tightening collars, making it easy to attach to a weathervane (not included, available as an option). The length of the windsock ranges from 100 cm to 450 cm, with base and tip diameters adjusted according to the selected size, ensuring precise airflow and clear wind condition readings.

3 to 6 metre mast with wind vanes for windsocks

The aluminum pole delivered with a weathervane is designed for a robust and durable installation in environments requiring precise wind condition signaling. Made from high-quality aluminum, it features a white lacquered finish for an elegant and weather-resistant appearance. The weathervane, installed at the top of the pole, allows the attachment of a windsock (not included), ensuring optimal visibility of wind direction and strength in airport, industrial, or other environments requiring this type of equipment.

The pole is available in several heights, ranging from 3 to 6 meters, in a single piece with a diameter of 60 mm, providing great stability. The weathervane, with a diameter of 60 cm, ensures smooth and precise rotation, allowing the windsock to correctly orient based on wind variations. To guarantee a solid installation, a concrete foundation measuring 70 x 70 x 60 cm is required, ensuring the pole remains firmly anchored even in changing wind conditions.

Several ground mounting options are available as additional accessories. The tilting base allows for easy tilting of the pole, facilitating quick windsock replacement. The ground sleeve, partially buried (50% in the ground), and the underground sleeve, fully embedded in the concrete foundation, ensure stable and long-lasting mounting. A square terrace baseplate (250 x 250 mm) is also available for installations on flat surfaces. Other pole heights can be provided upon request to meet specific requirements.

Fixings and accessories for windsock poles

Fixings and accessories for windsock poles are designed to ensure a robust and durable installation, whether it is permanent or temporary. Among these solutions, the ground sleeve is ideal for the permanent mounting of 60 mm diameter aluminum poles. This sleeve, with a height of 150 cm, is partially buried (50% in the ground and 50% above ground), providing a stable installation while maintaining the full height of the pole. The pole simply covers the exposed tube, ensuring an easy and efficient installation without any loss of height.

For temporary installations, the underground sleeve is a practical solution. This 75 cm sleeve, fully buried in a concrete foundation, is designed for 60 mm diameter poles. It comes with a cover cap that hides the pole's location when removed, offering a discreet and temporary setup. However, it results in a height loss of 75 cm for the pole, making it suitable for installations where full height is not a priority.

The terrace baseplate and tilting base are ideal options for installations on flat surfaces or where excavation work is to be avoided. The terrace baseplate, made from white lacquered steel, allows a 60 mm diameter pole to be mounted directly onto a terrace or flat surface without requiring civil works. The tilting base, on the other hand, facilitates the changing of windsocks with a mechanism that allows the pole to be inclined. Supplied with anchor bolts for embedding in a concrete foundation, this base ensures a solid and durable installation while simplifying maintenance and adjustments.
